Comments: My weblog URL changed (ブログ移転のおしらせ)Thank you for using Greasemetal.
I am sorry but my advise is to stop using Greasemetal and switch to the built-in userscript support of Google Chrome 2.0.
I am not sure whether there is a good explanation of how to use it, but I believe it can be done by following the steps below:
1) start google chrome with --enable-user-scripts option
2) copy the script files to "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\User Scripts" folder (automatically created by google chrome)
Hi,
This is about problems I have using Greasemetal, but I could not figure out how to post under the Greasemetal section of the Blog.
computer.
I really like using Auto-snipe for Gixen.com which runs on Firefox, but I have problems with FF, so I installed Chrome and looked for alternatives.
I installed
Greasemetal which is supposed to work like Greasemonkey with user scripts and I thought I could use Autosnipe.
I followed instructions for adding the Autosnipe script to my Usersjs folder and it doesn't work.
If I click on the Greasemetal desktop icon or use the start menu, Chrome opens and closes within seconds.
If I then open Chrome, close it, and retry the Greasemetal icon, I get a message telling me that Chrome is still open.
So any help you can give me will be most appreciated as will help from anyone else.
Thanks.
